Top Performers in Export Sales
According to the latest data from the China Bus Statistics Information Network, China exported 4,072 Autobusse (over 3.5 meters) in February 2025, up 9.99% year-on-year. The total export volume for the first two months reached 8,808 units, marking a 22.27% increase.

​Xiamen King Long led February sales with 736 units (+6.98% YoY), capturing 18.07% of the market.
​King Long Tourism Bus (a Xiamen-based subsidiary) ranked second with 701 units (+66.90% YoY), holding 17.22% of the market.
​Suzhou King Long (Higer Bus), part of the Xiamen King Long Group, surged 151.43% to 616 units, becoming the month’sdark horse”.
Strong Start to 2025
Over January-February, King Long Tourism Bus dominated with 2,074 units (+235.06% YoY), while Xiamen King Long followed with 1,278 units (+41.84% YoY).

Global Expansion Highlights

​King Long Tourism Bus exported 8,592 units in 2024, reaching new markets like Kazakhstan, Jamaica, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. In 2025, it secured orders from Egypt and Vietnam, including a recent shipment of 100 Coaster school buses to Oman.
​Xiamen King Long delivered 225 electric light buses to Nepal and 236 CKD (Complete Knock Down) kits to Egypt, expanding its global footprint to nearly 150 countries and regions.
Strategic Advantages
Experts attribute the success to Xiamen’s buses’ “solid technology and precise market demand understanding,” enabling them to compete effectively on the international stage. The city’s bus industry also benefits from innovativeKD (Knock Down) exportstrategies, which reduce costs and foster local production partnerships in markets like Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Kazakhstan
