China’s Yutong Delivers 100 Luxury Coach Buses to Saudi Arabia for Major Tourism Expansion

In a significant move to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism initiative, Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer Yutong has delivered 100 luxury coach buses to the Kingdom. The high-end fleet, customized for group travel, features premium interiors, advanced safety systems, and climate control optimized for desert conditions.

The buses will serve major pilgrimage and tourist routes, including connections between Mecca, Medina, and the newly developed NEOM region. This export marks one of Yutong’s largest single orders in the Middle East and underscores the growing international demand for Chinese-made luxury coach buses for group travel.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority emphasized that the new fleet will enhance passenger comfort and reliability during peak travel seasons, particularly for religious tourism. หยูทง, headquartered in Zhengzhou, has increased its global footprint in recent years, with its luxury coaches now operating in over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

The deal also highlights deeper Sino-Gulf cooperation in infrastructure and transportation modernization.

With global group travel rebounding post-pandemic, Chinese manufacturers are positioning themselves as key suppliers of premium road transport solutions.
